Photography

How much does real estate photography cost in Sacramento?

Our base package is $225 for homes under 2,500 square feet, and it includes drone aerials and a CubiCasa Plus floor plan — two things most photographers charge extra for. Homes above 2,500 square feet are priced by size starting at [$___]. Video, 3D tours, and virtual staging are available as add-ons. Call or text (916) 968-7017 for a quote on a specific property.

What's included in the base package?
  • Professionally edited interior and exterior photos, delivered web-ready and print-ready
  • Drone aerial photos (FAA Part 107 licensed)
  • A CubiCasa Plus floor plan
  • Next-business-day delivery
  • Full marketing rights for the listing agent
Do you charge extra for drone photos?

No. Aerials are included in the base package for standard residential listings (5-7 photos). Most Sacramento photographers treat drone as a $75–$150 add-on, so this is usually where we come out ahead on total cost even when the sticker price looks similar.

Bundled packages are available — ask when you book.

How fast will I get my photos?

Next business day. Shoot on Tuesday, photos in your inbox Wednesday.

How do I receive the files?

A link to an online gallery with both MLS-sized and full-resolution files, plus your floor plan and any 3D tour links. Everything downloads in one click and stays available for [___ days].

Can I keep using the photos after the listing sells?

The listing agent gets full marketing rights for the property — MLS, social, print, your website, portfolio, all of it, with no expiration. [Note any resale restriction]

How do I pay?

[Invoice terms, accepted methods, brokerage billing]

Videography

What's included in a listing video?

A cinematic walkthrough of the property — stabilized gimbal movement through the home, exterior and neighborhood context, and drone footage integrated into the edit, not just stills. Delivered color-graded with licensed music, ready to post to MLS, YouTube, and social. Typical finished length is [60–90 seconds].

Do you shoot videos with the agent on camera?

Yes. On-camera work is a different production — we bring audio gear, direct the shoot, and plan the segments with you beforehand, so it's priced separately from a standard walkthrough at [$___]. It's the stronger option when you're building a personal brand rather than just marketing one listing.

Is drone footage included in the video, or is it extra?

Included. Aerial motion is part of the edit on standard residential video shoots — same philosophy as our photo packages. We're FAA Part 107 licensed, so it's handled in-house.

How long does video take to deliver?

[___ business days]. Video takes longer than photos because of the edit — color grading, music sync, and pacing all happen after the shoot. If you're on a listing deadline, tell us when you book and we'll work backward from it.

Can you shoot photos and video in the same visit?

Yes, and it's the better way to do it. One prep, one appointment, one time the seller has to clear out. Combined shoots take longer on site but cost less than booking separately.

Do you deliver vertical versions for Instagram Reels and TikTok?

[Decide this one — see the note in the build doc]

Is the music licensed?

Yes. Every video is cut with properly licensed music, so your posts won't get muted or taken down for copyright. It sounds like a small thing until a listing video gets flagged on Instagram the week it goes live.

What do you need from me before a video shoot?

The home prepped the same way it would be for photos, plus a heads-up on anything you specifically want featured — a view, a renovation, a backyard setup. If you're appearing on camera, we'll send talking points in advance.

3D Tours & Virtual Staging

Do you offer 3D tours?

Both Zillow 3D Home and Matterport. Zillow 3D integrates directly with the Zillow listing and is the more budget-friendly option; Matterport produces a higher-fidelity walkthrough with measurement tools and embeds anywhere. Happy to talk through which fits a particular listing.

Do you offer virtual staging?

Yes — [$___] per image. It's the fastest way to make a vacant home feel livable, at a fraction of physical staging cost. We'll tell you honestly when a room would be better served by real furniture.

Do you provide a floor plan?

Every photo shoot includes a CubiCasa Plus floor plan at no additional charge.

Booking & Shoot Day

How far in advance should I book?

[2–3 days] is comfortable for most weeks. Spring and early summer book out faster — if you know a listing is coming, get on the calendar early.

How long does the shoot take?

Most homes under 2,500 square feet take about [45–90 minutes] for photos. Adding video or a 3D tour extends that — plan on [___] for a combined shoot.

Do I need to be there?

No. Many agents give us lockbox or code access and go about their day. If the home is occupied or has pets, it helps to have someone there to let us in and manage the animals.

How should I prepare the home before the shoot?

The single biggest factor in how good the media looks. Before we arrive:

  • Turn on every light and replace any burnt-out bulbs
  • Open blinds and curtains
  • Clear all countertops — kitchen and bathrooms especially
  • Remove cars from the driveway and the street in front of the home
  • Hide trash bins, pet bowls, litter boxes, and cords
  • Put toilet seats down and remove floor mats
  • Take down personal photos and refrigerator clutter
  • Tidy the yard: mow, coil the hose, put away toys

We do light staging adjustments on site, but we're not a cleaning or staging service. A prepped home photographs dramatically better and needs less editing.

What happens if it rains or we need to reschedule?

No charge to reschedule with [24 hours] notice, and weather reschedules are always free. Sacramento weather being what it is, we'd rather move the shoot than deliver gray exteriors.

Are you licensed to fly drones?

Yes — FAA Part 107 certified and insured. That matters more than agents realize: flying a drone commercially without a Part 107 certificate is a federal violation, and the liability lands on whoever hired the pilot.

Are there properties where you can't fly?

A few. Airspace near Sacramento Executive, Mather, McClellan, and Sacramento International is controlled, and some flights need authorization we request in advance. We'll flag it when you book. Most Sacramento-area residential neighborhoods are clear.

Digital Marketing

What digital marketing services do you offer?

Social media management and strategy, paid advertising across Google, Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and email marketing — newsletters, automated campaigns, and nurture sequences. They work as a system: the media we produce becomes the raw material for the ads, posts, and emails.

Do you only work with real estate clients?

No. Real estate is where a lot of our media work lives, but the marketing side serves any business — service companies, local retail, professional practices, hospitality. The strategy work is the same regardless of industry; what changes is the audience and the offer.

How is marketing priced — retainer or project?

Both, depending on what you need. Ongoing work like social media management, always-on ad campaigns, and email programs runs on a monthly retainer. One-time work — a campaign launch, a rebrand rollout, a seasonal push — is quoted as a project. We'll tell you which one actually fits rather than defaulting to the recurring option.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Retainers have a three-month minimum. That isn't a lock-in tactic — it's the honest runway. The first month is setup, audience testing, and gathering data; month two is where optimization starts paying off. Judging a campaign after 30 days means judging it before it's finished learning. Project work has no minimum.

What does social media management include?

[Confirm this list matches what you deliver]

  • Content strategy and a monthly content calendar
  • Content creation from your media library or from shoots we produce
  • Scheduling and publishing
  • Community engagement and comment response
  • Monthly performance reporting
Do I need to supply the content?

No — that's the point of hiring us. We can work from media we've already shot for you, produce new content, or build from assets you already have. If you want to be involved in the creative direction, that works too; some clients want approval on everything and some want to never think about it again.

Is ad spend included in your fee?

No, and be cautious with anyone who says it is. Your ad budget goes directly to Google or Meta and is billed to your own account. Our fee covers strategy, creative, campaign build, and ongoing optimization. Keeping them separate means you always see exactly where your money went.

How much should I budget for ads?

It depends on the market and the goal, but [$___] per month is a realistic starting point for local campaigns. Below a certain threshold the platforms don't get enough data to optimize, and you end up paying for a learning phase that never finishes. We'll be straight with you if a budget is too small to work.

Do I own my accounts and ad data?

Yes, always. Campaigns run in your own ad accounts and your own business profiles. If we part ways, everything stays with you — the account history, the audiences, the creative.

What reporting do I get?

A monthly report covering what ran, what it cost, and what it produced — reach, engagement, leads, and cost per result — plus what we're changing next month based on it. No 40-page dashboards full of metrics that don't connect to revenue.

How soon will I see results?

Paid advertising can produce leads within the first couple of weeks, though the first 30 days are largely about gathering data. Organic social and email compound more slowly — expect meaningful movement around the three-month mark. Anyone promising fast organic results is selling something.

Can I bundle marketing with photography and video?

Yes, and it's the most efficient way to work with us. When we're already producing your media, that content feeds directly into your social calendar, ad creative, and email campaigns — no separate content budget, no scrambling for something to post. Ask about bundled pricing.

Service Area

What areas do you serve?

Media production covers the greater Sacramento region and the San Francisco Bay Area, including Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Elk Grove, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Davis, Citrus Heights, West Sacramento, Woodland, Auburn, and Lincoln. [Travel fee beyond 60 miles?] Digital marketing services are handled remotely and available anywhere.

Do you shoot anything besides residential listings?

Yes — commercial spaces, new construction and builder work, short-term rentals, apartments and property management, and event venues. Same media services, priced by scope.
