Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026 · Pixl Strategies · Sacramento, California

The short version: When you request something from us — a free audit, a quote, a shoot, or our newsletter — we use your contact details to deliver it and follow up about it. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing ryan@pixlstrategies.com.

Who we are

Pixl Strategies ("Pixl Strategies," "we," "us") is a real estate media and digital marketing studio based in Sacramento, California. We provide real estate photography and video, and social media, advertising, email marketing, and Google Business Profile services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit pixlstrategies.com, contact us, or submit one of our forms — including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Facebook and Instagram lead forms. When you submit one of our forms on Meta's platforms, Meta shares with us the information in that form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, business or brokerage name, website or social media handles, and your answers to questions such as your goals, timeline, or the services you're interested in.
  • Website forms and email. Your name, email, phone number, property address, and anything else you choose to include in a contact form, booking request, or message to us.
  • Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address and, if provided, your name.
  • Purchases and bookings. Details needed to schedule a shoot or deliver a service, such as property address and access instructions. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Information for client work. If you become a client, account access, brand assets, and performance data you share so we can do the work.

Information collected automatically

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, along with our website host's (Squarespace's) own cookies. These collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and actions taken on the site. We use this to understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request — for example, to prepare and email the free audit you asked for, send a quote, or schedule a shoot
  • To follow up with you by email, phone, or text message about the request you made
  • To provide, manage, and bill for services you purchase
  • To send our newsletter or marketing emails, if you signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
  • To measure how our ads and website perform and to show our ads to relevant audiences
  • To keep our website and services secure, and to comply with legal obligations

If you submit a lead form, we will only contact you about the request you made and related Pixl Strategies services. Message and data rates may apply to text messages, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — for example, our website host, email marketing platform, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, scheduling and payment processors, and cloud storage. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google — through the tools described above, so we can measure and deliver our ads. Under California law, this kind of sharing for ad targeting can be considered "sharing" personal information; see "Your choices" below to opt out.
  • Legal and safety reasons — if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers — if Pixl Strategies is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Meta lead forms

When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects the information you provide and shares it with us. Meta's handling of your information is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. Once we receive your information, it's governed by this policy. We use it only to fulfill your request and to follow up as described above.

How long we keep it

We keep lead information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner. Client records are kept for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your choices

  • Emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
  • Texts: Reply STOP to any text message.
  • Cookies: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
  • Ad personalization: Adjust your Meta ad preferences or Google ad settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Do Not Track: There is no common standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, and our website does not currently respond to them.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you and how we use it
  • Give you a copy of that information
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete your information (subject to limited exceptions, such as records we must keep by law)
  • Stop using your information for marketing or targeted advertising

California residents have these rights under California law, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email ryan@pixlstrategies.com or call (916) 968-7017. We'll verify your request by confirming details we already have, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls on the accounts and tools where it's stored. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
